But professionally, I am also a Care Founder, Registered Social Worker, Best Interest Assessor and Mentor to women building compliant care businesses of their own.
Like many mothers in social care, I spent years working on the front line, carrying responsibility, safeguarding others, leading teams, while balancing school runs, home life and everything in between.
I understood leadership long before I experienced ownership.
In England, 78% of the adult social care workforce is female.
Yet fewer than 40% of care organisations are female-led.
The issue is not capability.
It is positioning, structure and access.
I made a decision to build a regulated, profitable care organisation that allowed me to lead with authority while still being present for my family.
